FAQs

Got questions about getting a tattoo in Perth? Whether you're wondering about the booking process or how tattoos are priced, these frequently asked questions have you covered.

BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT

I operate on an appointment-only basis and am enthusiastic about creating both flash and custom tattoos. To schedule your appointment, reach out to me on Instagram (@dquinn.tattoo) or via email (quinntattooer@gmail.com). Be sure to include your concept, approximate size and placement, preferred dates, and any reference images. A clear and concise request will ensure I can assist you effectively!

PERTH//FREMANTLE AVAILABILITY

My current schedule is Monday to Friday at Golden Panther Tattoo (Fremantle), and on weekends at I'm at Bloodlines Ink (North Perth). Please note that booking in advance is essential, as walk-ins are not guaranteed.

PRICING

Tattoo pricing for appointments starts with a minimum fee of $200 AUD. My rates are on a sliding scale, typically around $200 per hour. I am dedicated to collaborating with you to provide discounted rates for larger tattoos, such as back pieces or sleeves, as well as for clients coming from outside the Perth metropolitan area, interstate and overseas. My pricing fairly represents my skill, experience, and expertise— "cheap tattoos aren't good, and good tattoos aren't cheap".

DEPOSITS

A $200 deposit is required to secure all appointments. This deposit confirms your booking and is deducted from the final cost of your tattoo. It also covers the preparation time involved prior to your session, including sourcing references, developing your design, and drawing time, which will vary depending on the complexity and scale of your tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable and ensure dedicated time is set aside for your custom piece.

CONSULTATIONS

For larger, multi-session pieces or highly customised tattoos, we recommend booking a free 10–20 minute consultation. This gives us the opportunity to discuss your design in detail, review reference ideas, and refine the overall concept together. We’ll also look at placement, scale, and flow to ensure the tattoo works with your body and vision. Consultations help us properly plan your piece so each session is efficient and the final result is cohesive and well thought out.
